Having inserted my short fiction the singular goal for analysis i got this result!!

FALCONCLIFF

So i am in a dilemma whether to categorize this post under the places that left an imprint on me category, because it’s an imaginary painting that is a result from one of the fictions I had read.

Nevertheless I have categorized this in the places that left an imprint on me…. as it is exactly the truth.

This place left such an imprint in my heart that  actually made me paint it. Having never seen it, I wished to see it at least through my painting, because all  there was a description, though imaginary from one of the historical romantic fictions that I had read.

The author had called it Falconcliff, a beautiful house situated on top of a cliff , silhouetted against the sky and surrounded by a vast expanse of sea.

That of course gives one a pleasant feeling.

Though my painting does not have a professional edge to it, I relish the feeling of actually producing what I wished to picture from the lines described in the fiction.

Being a dreamer, a person with an ability to visualise whats being said, I usually imagine what I read and have never had been caught in a situation of actually painting it, this place evoked such a feeling that I  wanted to visit it, live in the house, go to the cliff’s edge,

visit the sandy beach spreading myself on the ground under the clear blue sky with waves of the sea lashing at my feet.

A TRIP TO MUNNAR

My trip to Munnar and yet another hill station was an experience in itself , happened while I was doing my PG. One of the best times I had with my family friends. Basically I did love the scenic beauty of munnar, the vast tea plantations, and the nature’s effect on Munnar was awesome. On the way to Munnar,  I enjoyed the scene that enfolded before me.

But what made Munnar special to me was the place that we selected to stay – High range club, an awesome place where anybody would instantly fall in love with. The club was situated a little further inside Munnar, they had several cottages and the main cottage was the best of all, decorated with the british style furnitures dating back to the 18 th and 19th century of the gentlemen’s  era with a style of dimly lit corners,  lounges that have a fireplace, they had a hunting room dated back to when the english men brought back their accomplishments, a library with a great collection of old books, indoor game lounge and a golf course.

Apart from the nature’s effect on me,  I loved the stay in the club, that love was attributed to my love for the  british style and culture dated back to the Regency era or the 18 th centuary, the etiquette they follow, the  british couture, etc.

We had a two nights and one day stay at Munnar, after a good sight-seeing  during the night  we explored Munnar’s  paths, going further inside Munnar’s untended roads was a thrill, exploring at night-time and having a cup of tea at a roadside tea shop was one unforgettable memory.
